Pokemon Platinum just came to the U.S. & Canada last month. 

In Pokemon Platinum, Rotom can be obtained in several forms. These "alienated" Rotoms are known as the "Rotom Factor."

Before the game came out, there's been some controversy whether the Rotom Factor is real or not. In fact, it is 100% true that there are different forms of Rotom that can be obtained in POKEMON PLATINUM.
